Manufactured in 1948. There were approximately 20,000 Model 70s manufactured in .220 Swift and the cartridge was only the fifth most popular cartridge for the Super Grade rifles. It has a hooded ramp front sight, filler block in the rear sight dovetail slot, Unertl Vulture 10x43 scope on Buehler mounts, added "-SUPER GRADE-" on the floorplate, polished bolt numbered to gun, solid bolt knob, late safety and Super Grade straight comb stock with quick release sling swivels, hard rubber factory grip cap, checkered steel buttplate and leather sling.

Very fine as assembled. The rifle retains 95% plus original blue finish showing some minor high edge wear. The stock is excellent with some minor handling marks and a few blemishes in the overall crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The scope has clear optics.
