Fancy scroll gold inlay decorates the breech end of the barrels, frame, hammers, locks, break lever and upper tang, with a simple gold inlaid line design on the muzzle end of the barrels and on the forearm wedge escutcheon. The top of the frame is gold inlaid with "Luigi Spadini Roma". The left barrel near the breech is gold inlaid with "Damas," and the right barrel has "Turr". The massive brown Damascus barrels gauge at an 8 bore and are fitted with a dovetailed blade front sight and a two leaf (one folding, one fixed) rear sight with the fixed sight marked in gold "M" on the left side and "400" on the right. The barrel flats are marked with the Belgium "E/LG" proofmark, the perron mark and a "*/VG" proof ark. Double triggers and mounted with a checkered walnut wedge secured forearm and round knob pistol grip stock with a flat iron buttplate.

Very good with 20% original brown finish remaining on the barrels and showing most of the Damascus pattern. The remaining metal surfaces are mostly smooth mottled gray patina with some original case colors in protected areas. All of the gold remains. The wood is also fine as being lightly sanded and freshened with a coat of varnish, showing some scattered minor dents, dings and scratches, and the checkering worn smooth on the forearm. The left hammer spur is broken off and unable to be cocked, and the right hammer functions well.
