Manufactured in Brescia, Italy, Famars shotguns are some of the world's finest made and were available on a custom order basis only. The company (as Abbiatico & Salvinelli) ceased production in 2012. This very fine shotgun features very intricate highly detailed Bulino game scenes on each lock and on the underside of the receiver, as well as fine English scroll patterns. The left side is a wooded scene with a pointer and flushing pheasants, the right side has flushing partridge in a wooded/field scene, and two woodcock are on the underside of the receiver. The break lever, trigger guard, tangs and forearm hardware have fine English scroll patterns. The lower left front of the receiver is signed "A Galeazzi" as is the right side. The underside is simply marked "AG". There is a single steel bead sight on the matte solid rib, 2 3/4 inch chambers, choked cylinder/modified and ejectors. The top of the left barrel near the breech is marked "Abbiatico & Salvinelli". The matching serial number is marked on the lower tang, water table, barrel flat and on the forearm hardware. Blue barrels, satin grey remaining parts, single trigger, tang mounted manual safety, and mounted with a very nicely figured multi-point checkered walnut forearm with a silver inset A&S shield logo on the underside and straight grip stock with teardrop flats and checkered bare butt. Length of pull is 14 inches, drop at the heel is 2 inches, and drop at the comb is 1 3/8 inches. With a leather bound takedown case with A&S Abbiatico & Salvinelli interior label and two snap caps.

Excellent. 97% original finish remains with scattered small handling marks and a few light nicks on the barrels. The wood is excellent with crisp, fine checkering and a few small dings on the buttstock. Mechanically excellent. Case is very good with small scuffs on the exterior and some interior staining.
