Description:

Measuring 20 inches (50.8 centimeters) square, this flag is of the style appointed by Reichskriegminister Werner von Blomberg from 1935 to 1939 for use by the Oberfehlshaber der Marine (Commander-in-Chief of the German Navy), which during that time frame would be Grossadmiral Erich Raeder. The hoist is ink stamped "eagle/m" and "Ob.d.M. 0,5 x 0,5", and the main body is white cloth with a printed design of a black and white Iron Cross backed by a crossed pair of gold and brown swords with fouled anchor designs on the hilts.

Rating Definition:

Good, with some small moth holes, mostly outside the printed design, along with some minor stains. No line, hooks, or other hoisting equipment are included.
