Description:

Constructed from black cloth and bearing a tag from Heinrich von der Aa of Bremen on the interior, the sleeve bear the lace bars and insignia of an Oberleutnant zur See (equivalent to a USN Lieutenant Junior Grade) with a career specialty in Engineering. A gold bullion eagle is installed on the right breast, with an Iron Cross 2nd Class ribbon in the buttonhole, an Iron Cross 1st Class below the left breast pocket, and a ribbon bar featuring a Long Service Medal, Austrian Anschluss Medal and a Czech Anschluss Medal. The trousers are also of black cloth construction, with no visible makers marks.

Rating Definition:

Very good overall, with a few small moth holes and light staining. The breast eagle may be a later addition.
