This is an excellent example of a 06/34 Mauser Banner Swiss contract Luger pistol rig. These pistols were manufactured by Mauser as a commercial contract for Switzerland. This example has the old style Model 1906 barrel extension and frame with the fast taper barrel first pattern, polished lower safety area, grip safety and no stock lug. The frame has been correctly fitted with the coil mainspring. It is estimated that approximately 500 were made in the 3500v-4000v serial number range for both the Swiss Government as well as other foreign countries. This model can be found with or without a crest over the chamber area with this example not having a crest. The Mauser banner is on the front toggle. The left side of the barrel extension and breechblock have the later Nazi "Eagle N" firing proofs. The full serial number (3725v) is located on the front of the frame with serial number (3725) on the left side of the barrel extension and underside of the barrel, and the last two digits of the serial number (25) stamped on the various small parts. Comes with one matching magazine and original leather Swiss holster with a shoulder strap and an original stamped Swiss front sight/muzzle cover. The magazine is a blue version with an aluminum base marked "3725/v". The holster is marked "H. ARNI-RITZ/ing. Agr./WINDISCH/Hausarstr. 737" on the inside of the flap.

Excellent. The pistol retains 98% plus of the original blue finish showing some wear on the edges and high spots, and thinning on the side plate and right frame rail. The various small parts retain 95% of the straw colors. The grips are excellent with a few minor chips in the otherwise crisp checkering. The holster is very fine with a nice even original brown color, clear markings and tight stitching. An exceptional and scarce Mauser 1906/34 Swiss contract Luger rig.
