Originally manufactured in 1890 and subsequently professionally engraved and totally upgraded in the 20th century. The receiver features engraved scrollwork on a punch dot background and scroll borders. The left side of the receiver has a gold inlaid Winchester Rider logo, and the right side of the receiver has a gold inlaid Rampant Colt logo. Light scrollwork extends to the forend cap, takedown collar, hammer, lever and buttplate tang. There is a tang peep sight, and the lower tang is marked with the two-line patent dates information and the serial number. The barrel has dovetailed blade and Marble elevation adjustable sights, marked with the two-line address and "50-100-450," and has light scrollwork with a gold inlaid band at the breech and muzzle. The highly figured forearm and straight grip stock are checkered. The barrel and magazine are blue, and the remaining surfaces hare casehardened. The extra barrel has matching accents, sights and forearm and is marked with the two-line address and "50 EX."
Professionally embellished/upgraded/rebarreled to near mint showing a few light handling marks overall. Mechanically excellent.
