Originally manufactured in China and imported by Keng's Firearm Specialty of Atlanta, this Kalashnikov-style rifle was extensively rebuilt by S.W.D. into a "Krinkov" (aka AKS-74U) pattern sub-machine gun using Bulgarian components. Essentially a shortened AKS-74, the "U" even meaning "Ukorochenniy"(Shortened), the AKS-74U was a go-to weapon for special forces, airborne infantry and vehicle crews, and remains in service today as a law enforcement weapon. Post front and two-leaf rear sights, with a chrome lined flash hider/muzzle booster, hinged dust cover and a three position safety/selector (safe/full/semi). The handguard is shortened and contoured hardwood, with a checkered pistol grip and a side folding stamped steel buttstock with a ribbed buttplate.

Very fine as rebuilt, with 95% matte black finish, showing some mild handling marks overall, as well as some light dings on the furniture. Multiple components retain their original "Made in Bulgaria" labels, and the area beneath those labels has not been inspected. Mechanically excellent. NOTE: This weapon is a National Firearms Act (NFA), fully transferable Class 3, which is registered with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, (BATFE) under the provisions of 18 U.S.C. Chapter 44 and 27 CFR part 478.
