Barrel marked "SA/flaming bomb/8-14" with fixed blade front and folding ladder rear sights with the volley notch at the top, and standard receiver markings. Early style straight grip stock with a high hum upper handguard, circled script "P" on the underside of the wrist, boxed "J.F.C." inspection mark on the left side, and a checkered steel trapdoor buttplate.
Very fine with 70% original blue finish remains with areas of a thin brown patina on the barrel shank, small nicks and dings, clear markings, handling marks mostly on the bolt handle, and areas of mild spotting. The stock is also very fine with scattered small dings and dents, some small jagged gouges, and very clear inspection marks. Mechanically excellent.
