Manufactured in 1948. Fixed undercut Patridge blade front and fully adjustable rear target notch sights. The left side of the barrel is marked with the one-line Hartford address with the Rampant Colt and "MATCH TARGET" just forward of the breech. Fitted with a serrated push button magazine catch, smooth slide catch and serrated thumb safety. The front and rear grip straps are serrated. The grips are checkered mottled brown plastic with a right hand thumb rest.
