Manufactured from 1931 to 1940 with this example shipped in December 1939. It has target sights, standard S&W markings, an importer marking on the butt and matching serial numbers on the butt, right grip panel, cylinder and barrel.

Excellent. The revolver retains 99% plus original blue finish showing a faint cylinder drag line and a series of minor dings on the right side of the trigger guard. A gouge is also present on the trigger guard. 99% plus original case colors remain on the hammer and trigger. The grips are very good with a few minor notches and a minor surface chip missing near the bottom (left panel) and crisp checkering overall. Mechanically excellent. Provenance: Frank Staig.
