Smith & Wesson .38 Military & Police Model of 1905 4th Change Double Action Revolver

Manufactured from 1915 to 1942 with this example shipped in January 1936. It has standard S&W markings, an importer marking on the butt, matching serial numbers on the butt, right grip panel, barrel and cylinder and matching assembly number "51088" on yoke and crane.

ConditionExcellent. The revolver retains 97% original blue finish showing a few scattered areas of minor thinning and a light cylinder drag line. There are three nicks on the trigger guard. Nearly all of the original case colors remain on the hammer and trigger. The grips are excellent with some minor handling marks on the bottom and crisp checkering overall. Mechanically excellent. Provenance: Frank Staig.
