Winchester Model 42 Slide Action Shotgun with Solid Rib Barrel

Manufactured in 1947 with dual bead sights, standard barrel markings, 3 inch chamber, full choke, extra fancy fleur-de-lis checkered extension forearm and stock with a hard rubber Winchester grip cap and checkered Winchester buttplate. Stock measurements are: 1 1/2 inch drop at comb; 2 inch drop at heel; 13 1/2 inch length of pull.

ConditionVery fine as custom upgraded. 95% original blue finish remains on the receiver with the barrel assembly being refinished, slide retraction marks, and light handling marks. The highly figured walnut replacement wood is very fine with crisp checkering, attractive grain, and some small surface scratches. Mechanically excellent.
