Manufactured in 1954. Single bead sight, standard barrel markings, 2 3/4 inch chamber, Winchester proofs on the barrel and receiver at the breech, and early production replacement solid rib modified choke barrel. Fancy fleur-de-lis checkered forearm and buttstock with hard rubber Winchester grip cap and checkered Winchester buttplate. Stock measurements are: 1 3/4 inch drop at comb; 2 1/2 inch drop at heel; 14 inch length of pull.

Very fine overall as professionally restocked/rebarreled with 97% of the original blue, traces of edge wear, and some small scratches and dings. The near mint later production highly figured replacement wood has sharp checkering and a few small marks. Mechanically excellent.
