Manufactured in 1894 with a special order half magazine. The barrel has dovetailed blade and elevation adjustable sights and is marked with the two-line address and "38 W.C.F." The upper tang has the three-line model/patent date marking. The buttstock is fitted with a solid crescent buttplate.

Very good. The rifle retains traces of original blue finish with the balance a mottled brown patina. There is limited minor pitting. The wood is very good with a couple shallow gouges and some minor pressure dents and scratches. Mechanically excellent.
