Manufactured in 1877, the first year of production. The barrel has the two-line address on top and the etched caliber panel "COLT D.A. 41" on the left side. The left side of the frame has the three line, three patent dates marking. Matching serial numbers are on the frame, cylinder and grip straps.

Fine. The revolver retains 50% original blue finish and 30% of original case colors with the balance a smooth brown patina. The etched panel is legible. The grip is very fine with some minor dings and scratches and crisp checkering overall. Mechanically excellent.
