A) Wilkinson Flintlock Pistol

Manufactured c. 1812-1818 by Wilkinson of Bristol, England with post front sights, concave tops on the Damascus barrels which are marked with "BRISTOL," engraved flat bevelled advanced flintlocks marked "WILKINSON" with pierced cocks, semi-waterproof pan, roller, and half-cock safeties; silver wedge escutcheons and thumb plates, engraved long necked bestial head over a torse and "JP," and traditional English engraving. They are appropriately sized for carrying in the pockets of a great coat or frock.

ConditionFine with 75% plus refinished brown and distinct twist patterns on the barrel. The balance has mottled gray patina and some light pitting. The stock is very good with some dents and scratches, crisp checkering with minor marks, and a chip on the butt. Mechanically excellent.

ConditionFine with 70% of the refinished brown and attractive twist patterns on the barrel. Mottled gray patina and some light pitting are on the balance. The bottom of the trigger guard tang is bent out slightly. The stock is very good with mostly crisp checkering, general dents and scratches, and a small chip at the top of the lock inlet. Mechanically excellent.
