According to information supplied by the consignor, this rifle was assembled custom in England using a 98 pattern receiver, a Bauska barrel, and a custom fit hand selected Bishop stock, with chambering for 450 Watts, a heavy magnum round similar to (but longer than) the 458 Lott and 458 Winchester Magnum dangerous game cartridges. Additionally, the rifle is noted as having been successfully used on American buffalo, scoring multiple one-shot drops. Ramp bead front and three leaf express rear sights (100, 200, and 300 yards), with the "WHITWORTH" mark on top of the chamber and the dual Alexandria Virginia/Manchester England addresses on the side. The stock is checkered walnut with a metal grip cap, right handed shadow-line cheekpiece and an Old English recoil pad.

Excellent, with 98% plus blue finish, showing some light handling marks overall and a plum tone to the receiver. The stock is also excellent, with some light chipping in the bolt channel and some handling of the recoil pad. Mechanically excellent.
