Excellent Smith & Wesson K-38 Target Masterpiece (Pre-Model 14) Double Action Revolver with Gold Box

Manufactured in 1950. It has standard S&W markings, Patridge front and adjustable notch rear sights, matching serial numbers on the butt, right grip panel, cylinder and barrel and matching assembly number on the yoke and crane. Comes with an un-numbered K-38 Masterpiece Target revolver factory box.

ConditionExcellent. The revolver retains 99% plus original blue finish showing a light cylinder drag line. Nearly all original case colors remain on the hammer and trigger. The grips are very fine with a tiny chip missing near the top (right panel), limited minor handling marks and sharp checkering overall. Mechanically excellent. The box is fine showing some minor-moderate wear.
