Shipped in June 1952, this revolver has standard S&W markings, importer marking on the butt, un-numbered grips, matching assembly numbers on the yoke and crane and matching serial numbers on the butt, cylinder and ejector shroud. Provenance: Frank Staig collection.

Excellent. The revolver retains 98% original blue finish showing slight loss at the muzzle, a couple scuff marks, some minor handling marks and a cylinder drag line. There is a dent below the thumb latch and dings on the butt. 95% original case colors remain on the hammer and trigger. The grips are fine showing some minor pressure dents and scratches and some scattered blemishes in the checkering. Mechanically excellent.
