Manufactured in September 1943 and later arsenal upgraded to M1D Sniper configuration. Blade front and peep rear sights, with a "DRC" windage drum, T37 flash suppressor, and a Springfield "10-52" barrel with integral scope base and a commercial Weaver K4 60-B scope. Internal components include a Springfield bolt, hammer and operating rod, safety and trigger housing. Smooth pistol grip stock, with an circled "P" on the underside of the wrist, "MRT/10-52" cheekpiece (not screwed to stock), green canvas sling and a checkered steel buttplate with tools. Very fine as arsenal refurbished and to M1D sniper configuration. 95% of the post-war dark green parkerized finish remains with some small scattered surface scratches, handling marks overall, and some light edge wear on the receiver heel. The stock has a few scattered dings and pressure marks. Mechanically excellent.
