Description:

Manufactured in Canada and dated "1942". Blade front and two-leaf rear sights, with a "N(broad arrow)7" New Zealand mark on the socket and a smooth stock with sling swivels and "broad arrow in C" military proofs. With a Number 4 Mark II socket bayonet, 9 3/4 inches overall with an 8 inch spike.

Rating Definition:

Excellent, with 95% of the matte blue finish, showing some dents and covered pitting on the magazine, restamped numbers on some components, areas of brown patina and mild handling marks. The stock has been sanded and oiled with some light dings. Mechanically excellent.

Description:

Manufactured in 1924. Blade front and two-peep folding ladder rear sight, with a magazine cutoff installed on the receiver and a proper diagonal serration safety switch. The smooth straight wrist stock is numbered to match on the underside of the forearm near the bayonet lug, with a smooth brass buttplate.

Rating Definition:

Very fine, with 90% of the arsenal refurbished blue finish, showing some areas of brown and gray patina, bright edge wear and scattered spotting and handling marks. The stock is very good as sanded/refinished, with a blank wooden panel installed on the right side of the buttstock and a chip forming just ahead of the rear sling swivel. Mechanically excellent.
