Manufactured around 1966. Blade front and 500 meter tangent rear sights, with an external extractor, stacked matching serial numbers on the right side of the barrel, slide and frame, and the crossed swords and jambiya seal of the Sultanate of Oman on the right side of the slide. This is one of allegedly 36 pistols roll engraved with the Omani crest. According to FN expert and author Anthony Vanderlinden, "The first nine pistols were roll marked with an error in the crest, the consequent 27 pistols had the correct crest," and "there is no indication that these pistols were ever in or used by Oman"; instead, these pistols were sales samples used in an attempt to secure a contract. This example has an incorrect crest (the scabbard of the dagger points to the right instead of the left). The back strap is properly slotted for a shoulder stock, with a pair of checkered plastic grips. With a hand-numbered Fabrique Nationale box, French language instruction sheet and a barrel rod.

Excellent, with 99% of the arsenal refurbished matte black finish, showing some minor handling marks overall. The grips are also excellent, with some minimal dings. The box is good, with tape on the lid and scuffing of the edges. Mechanically excellent.
