Blade front and 500 yard tangent rear sights, with "crown/crown/U" proofs on the left chamber flat, "crown/gothic letter" on the right, the Mauser Oberndorf address on top of the chamber and on the right side of the frame, and a "NS" new safety marking on the small ring hammer. Fitted with a pair of 32-groove grips, which are numbered to match on the interior. In contrast to the more standard large "9" branded and red filled around the grip screw, these grips are stamped and red filled "9 m/m" restamped on top of each panel just above the serration. A replacement shoulder stock marked "455 1 FA 927" on top of the iron is also included.

Very good, with 60% of the partially refinished blue finish, showing some bright streaks on the underside of the barrel from stock contact, areas of brown patina, mild edge wear and scattered spotting and handling marks. The rear grip strap exhibits draw filing and four extra non-factory holes drilled in both sides, which is covered by the grip panels. The grips are very good, with some verdigris around the screw escutcheons and mild dings. The stock is fair, with cracks at the mouth, a mixed brown patina on the hardware, and scattered dents. Mechanically functions, but safety does not move freely without hammer retraction.
