Produced by the Tokyo Gas and Electric Company under Navy contract with the "GTE" marking on the chamber, an anchor proof on the right side of the one-piece frame next to the model markings and serial number, and a pair of Kanji markings on the left side. Fixed front and tangent rear sights, serrated cocking piece, grip safety on the front strap, lanyard swivel, and checkered contoured grips with the kanji for "2/3" painted on the right panel. The magazine is numbered "2682/."; while not documented, the extreme proximity of the numbers is suggestive of an accidental switch in the field. Another non-matching magazine is also included, as is a brown leather "clamshell" flap holster with untranslated markings inside the flap, as well as a white painted "23", matching the grip marking, and a matching leather shoulder strap.

Very fine, with 85% of the original blue finish, showing areas of spotting, concentrated on the grip straps, mild edge wear and light handling marks. 50% of the original straw colors remain on the small parts. The grips are also very fine, with a few light dings. The holster is fine, with light scuffs and stains. Mechanically excellent.
