Manufactured from an "eagle/88" (Spreewerke) proofed frame, this P-38 has been outfitted with an elongated eight inch barrel; while no documentation is available, the finish and barrel appear to be in the style of noted custom gunsmith John Martz. Fixed blade front and notch rear sights, with a "P.38" slide, "439z" marked on the frame beneath the grips, "eagle/359" (Walther) proofed unnumbered barrel and a matching numbered "eagle/88" proofed locking block. The grips are ribbed brown plastic, and the magazine is marked "P1/9mmx19".

Very fine as custom modified, finished and upgraded, with 98% of the fine high polish blue, with a patch of rust on the right side of the muzzle, mild edge wear and scattered handling marks. The grips are very good, with some light scratches. Mechanically very good.
