Manufactured in 1944, and later overhauled and upgraded by Springfield Armory into a National Match pistol. Slide markings are standard, with the addition of "SA" under the slide stop, a serrated Patridge blade front sight and "Micro" brand adjustable rear sight, and the "FJA" frame is stamped "T" and "SA" on the right side, with "NM" on the trigger. The bushing and barrel are both NM components, with the former hand-numbered to match and the latter stamped to match, and marked "M P" and "[C]" on the lug. The frame is fitted with a serrated adjustable aluminum trigger, thin checkered hammer, long grip safety, checkered front strap and mainspring housing, checkered grips and a full blue magazine marked "R" and "C-R" on the toe.
