Description:

Manufactured in 1944, part of the second Winchester serial block. Blade front and "H in shield" marked adjustable rear sights, with an undated "W" barrel, Type III barrel band, "W" recoil plate, round bolt, "K" marked milled trigger guard, "EW" button safety and a "W" M2-style magazine catch. Low wood stock, with a four-rivet handguard, crossed cannons on the right side, "W" marked sling cut, and a checkered buttplate. With a green canvas sling. Magazine absent.

Rating Definition:

Excellent, with 95% of the original parkerized finish, showing a small amount of brown spotting and light handling marks, as well as traces of old storage grease. The stock is very fine with a few dings and dark spots. Mechanically excellent.
