This P-38 has been custom reworked by California gunsmith John Martz, who significantly reduced the overall dimensions of the pistol without sacrificing the distinct profile. Measuring 6 3/4 inches in total length and 4 7/8 inches tall, this pistol is fitted with fixed sights, with "JVM" and "41" in ovals on the left side of the frame and Walther "eagle/359" proofs on some parts. The grips are checkered fancy walnut, with straw finished small parts. Three properly resized "JVM" magazines are included, with the bases numbered "1" or "2".

Near mint as customized, with 98% plus chrome like bright finish, showing a few minor handling marks. The grips are also near mint with crisp checkering and attractive grain. Mechanically excellent.
