The modern made replacement barrel has dovetail German silver blade and elevation adjustable sights and is marked with the two-line address/patent dates marking. The barrel lacks a caliber marking, but the cartridge elevator is marked "44 CAL." The upper tang has the model marking, and the lower tang has the serial number. Equipped with a single set trigger. The highly figured and checkered pistol grip stock has an ebony grip insert and a crescent buttplate. The lower tang is marked "4563 XX R," the stock inlet is unmarked, and the buttplate is marked "5463."
