Manufactured in 1961. Manufactured without sights with factory drilled and tapped holes at the muzzle, mid barrel, and breech for sight/scope block mounting, and standard barrel markings. The barrel is not stamped with the Winchester "WP" proof, but is stamped with the oval "P" proof indicating a factory replacement barrel installed outside the factory. The left side of the receiver is stamped with the "WP" proof. Receiver is fitted with scope bases and a Leupold scope. Single shot action with adjustable trigger. Heavy target style stock with forearm accessory rail, and Winchester recoil pad.
