Combination beaded blade and nickel/silver blade front sight and two leaf (one standing, one folding) rear notch sight. The barrel rib is inscribed "C.G. HAENEL SUHL, GERMANY" between the rear sight and the breech with silver inlay. There is light border engraving around the breech end of the barrel and the receiver has an overall punch dot texture applied. There is no caliber designation marked, the bore measures at 9mm. The serial number is stamped on the buttplate with the matching partial number "26" stamped on most of the components. With a serrated butterknife style polished bolt handle, "HAENEL" marked hinged floor plate, and double set triggers. The checkered stock features a single forend wedge, raised cheekpiece, silver initial oval, and flat steel buttplate.

Fine. 95% original blue finish remains on the barrel with scattered surface scratches and dings, and traces of faint brown patina. The receiver has an overall gray patina with muted case colors visible on the rails, and some cycling marks. The wood is also fine with rich color, crisp checkering, and numerous indentations throughout. Mechanically excellent.
