Manufactured during the Nazi occupation of Hungary. Hooded blade front and tangent rear sights, with "jhv/42" on the receiver ring. The right side of the rear sight base, and receiver ring are stamped with double "eagle/56" acceptance marks with the "eagle/swastika" firing proof on the left. The "eagle/56" stamp is repeated on multiple components including the trigger plate, bolt parts, and the stock. Smooth pistol grip stock with the matching serial number, "jhv" manufacturer's code, and a flat steel buttplate. All visible numbers are matching. With leather sling and unmarked shipping box.

Very fine 70% original blue finish remains with areas of high point and edge wear, some visible spotting and brown patina, and handling marks throughout. The stock is fine with clear markings, small dings and bruises throughout, and some chips around the butt. Mechanically excellent.
