Built around the basic design of a H&R single shot hammer gun, this line thrower features an extra-thick "reinforced" barrel and breech, and uses 45-70 caliber blanks to launch a 13 inch long brass projectile attached to a remote line. Manufactured without sights, with matching numbers on the barrel, forearm and frame, the latter also bearing the "RE-ENFORCED BREECH" marking. Fitted with a smooth pistol grip stock with a thick H&R ventilated recoil pad. Included with the thrower is a green painted hardwood case, ten projectiles, three winding sticks, two pre-wound lengths of line, one metal line can (minus mounting hardware) and a grouping of instruction sheets.
