Blade and ladder sights, with Springfield barrel dated "12-19", standard markings on the receiver ring, and the oval ejector port in the left sidewall. The bolt handle is marked "N.S." on top. Straight grip stock with a boxed "S.A./JFC" inspection mark on the left side, "O/F" stamps in the correct Mark I magazine cutoff recess, two circled "P" proofs on the bottom of the wrist, and "3/D/112" stamped on the right side of the butt. The stock is not relief cut for the ejection port in the receiver.
