Manufactured for the U.S. Historical Society for the American bicentennial in 1976 based on an original pair of mid-18th century Hawkins flintlock officer's pistols owned by George Washington and in the collection of the West Point Museum. They have the standard markings and features of this commemorative and include an English fitted presentation case, a pair of white gloves, and a certificate of authenticity.
