The serial number dates to 1900 and it has the standard markings, blade front sight, 1901 pattern rear sight with folding ladder graduated out to 2,300 yards, and a "JSA/1900" cartouche on the highly figured walnut stock.

Fine with 50% plus original finish, scattered minor marks, light pitting under the finish on the rear sight, and a very good lightly sanded and re-oiled stock with general mild scratches. Mechanically excellent.
