Description:

The accompanying factory letter lists this revolver with a 7 1/2 inch barrel in .32-20, blue finish and type of stocks not listed when shipped to John Pritzlaff Hardware Co., Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on May 22, 1929. Also included is consignor research related to John Pritzlaff Hardware Co., which was founded in 1850 and disbanded around 1958. The barrel has the one-line address on top and "32 W.C.F" on the left side. The left side of the frame has the two-line patent dates marking along with a Rampant Colt. Matching serial numbers on the frame, both grip straps on the right side, cylinder (30) and both internal grip panels. Matching assembly number "799".

Rating Definition:

Excellent. The revolver retains 97% plus original blue finish showing some light cycling marks on the cylinder and minor thinning on the back strap. There is a series of long scratches on the left side of the barrel at the muzzle. 95% plus vivid original case colors remain on the hammer and frame with a dark spot of surface rust visible on top at barrel juncture. The grips are excellent plus with crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
