Description:

Measuring 36 3/4 inches overall with a 25 3/4 inch blade, showing a fine straight hamon and a silver finished habaki, installed in kai-gunto pattern furniture with treated cloth in place of the rayskin, a faded label on the saya, and a dog tag secured to one of the suspension rings. The tag is made out to a Wayne L. Wolfgang, an enlisted volunteer from the Southern U.S., with a "T46" tetanus jab date. No further information on Wolfgang is provided with the lot.

Rating Definition:

Very good. The blade is bright, with signs of light polishing near the tip, a strong hamon, and a few traces of storage grease. The hilt shows some light wear and staining, and could not be dismounted for inspection, and the saya shows mild scuffs and wear.
