Manufactured late in the war and subsequently sectionalized to show its internal components and workings. Fixed blade front and fixed peep rear sights, no markings on the barrel or receiver ring, and standard serial number and arsenal markings on the left receiver rail. The barrel, receiver, bolt, and stock have been heavily modified to create a cutaway with the edges highlighted in red paint. Pistol grip stock with last ditch style wood buttplate.

Very good as semi-expertly customized to a cutaway display piece and refinished overall with 99% of the current black finish, some light handling marks, and small dings on the painted edges. Stock is also very good as revarnsihed with small dings throughout. Mechanically the item functions, but because of the location of several cuts, the mainspring can become jammed.
