World War II U.S. Springfield M1 Garand Semi-Automatic Rifle

Manufactured in January of 1943. Blade front and locking drum equipped adjustable peep rear sights, with a proper Springfield "1-S-A-1-43" barrel, Springfield D28287-12 SA bolt, D28287-12 SA trigger housing, C 46008-3 SA hammer, C 46015-9 SA safety, and D 353825 SA operating rod. The smooth pistol grip stock bears "S.A./E.McF." and "Ordnance cannon" cartouches on the left side, with a serifed circled "P" on the wrist, a brown leather sling and a checkered buttplate. Locking bar still remains on right windage knob.

ConditionExcellent, with 95% of the original parkerized finish, showing a mixed patina on the gas cylinder and cylinder nut, bright cycling wear on the receiver and bolt, and mild handling marks. The stock is very fine, with crisp cartouche, some chips absent from the upper handguard and around the buttplate, as well as some scratches and dents. Mechanically excellent. A solid representative example of a WWII M1 Garand!
