This is a representative example of a post WWII/Korean War era M1/M2 carbine training aid. These were used in class rooms to identify the individual parts of the weapon and demonstrate the cycling/functioning of the carbine. This model is approximately 71 3/4 inches long and is made of a Balsa wood stock and forearm with aluminum action parts. Magazine absent. These make excellent collection display pieces.
