Manufactured in 1943. Adjustable patridge blade front and square notch rear sights, with the "MATCH/(bullseye)/TARGET" marking on the left rear of the barrel, the slide marked "COLT" next to the caliber markings and Rampant Colt, "THE WOODSMAN/U.S. PROPERTY" on the left side of the frame and "G.H.D." on the right. The trigger guard is marked "e/VP", the "MT" serial number down the front strap, "M.H.E." on the left side of the frame beneath the grip panels, a pair of extended plastic grips, and a "MATCH TARGET" marked magazine. Non-factory added trigger shoe is installed.

Excellent, with 95% of the original blue finish, showing some bright wear on the high edges and on the back strap, minor scratches on top of the barrel and frame, some light handling marks and spotting. The slide markings are a bit faint (factory error), otherwise the markings are crisp overall. A few scratches and rub spots are present around the factory plastic grips, which are excellent with sharp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
