Designed by Ernst Friedrich Büchel of Mehlis/Zella Mehlis, Thuringia, Germany. It features a semi-globe blade front sight on a ramp, late 19th century/early 20th century "BUG" proofs, an adjustable target rear sight, "E.F.B.LUNA" engraved on the left side of the frame, light border engraving, set triggers, checkered forearm and target grips, and matching serial numbers "404" and "04" on several components including the grip screws.
Very fine overall with 95% plus original blue and casehardened finish and minor handling and storage marks. There are a few minor dings and very crisp checkering on the wood. Mechanically excellent.
