Description:

According to the included Certificate of Authenticity, dated 23 May 1968, this pistol was part of the first run of 1000 Model B Gyrojets. Using high velocity self contained solid fuel rockets in place of traditional cartridges. In addition to the standard markings on the left side under the barrel, the name of the first issued owner, "JOSEPH J. STUBBS" in engraved on the left side between the hammer and trigger, and the grips are a pair of attractive smooth black synthetic panels. In a hardwood case, also engraved to Joseph Stubbs, with a red felt interior, a large inert gyrojet round engraved to Stubbs, and a wooden block holding a 10 inert gyrojet rounds and a Robert H. Goddard commemorative medallion. Other papers with the gun include another MBA certificate made out to "Dr. Joseph Stubbs", and articles on the Gyrojet line of weapons

Rating Definition:

Excellent, with 95% of the original satin nickel finish, showing scattered spotting and darkening in the protected areas. Grips are excellent, with a few light scratches. Case is excellent, with minimal handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
