Fixed blade and round top notch sights, the two-line, two-block Colt patents and address on the left side of the slide, the Rampant Colt behind the serrations, the (serifed) model nomenclature on the right and "H" above the firing pin stop, with the slide unnumbered as proper for the era. The left side of the frame is marked "UNITED STATES PROPERTY", with the "WGP" Penfield inspection stamp above the magazine catch and "H R" near the disconnector. Fitted with a long smooth trigger, checkered wide hammer, short grip safety, checkered slide catch and thumb safety, smooth flat mainspring housing with lanyard ring, checkered walnut grips with diamond flats, unmarked lanyard base two-tone magazine and a "P H" marked replacement blue barrel.
