With the correct early high wood stock, type 1 barrel band, two rivet handguard, boxed "NPM/FJA" inspection cartouche and "crossed cannons" stamps on the right side of the buttstock, "TRIMBLE/TN" stamp in the sling cutout, and a stamped checkered buttplate.

Rating Definition:

Excellent. 97% plus original gray/green parkerized finish remains with some areas of mild edge wear and cycling marks, and crisp markings. 98% of the original blue remains on the bolt. The wood is also excellent with sharp cartouches and a few scattered small dings. Mechanically excellent.
