This fantastic Colt factory prototype includes a factory letter confirming the serial number, caliber, finish, grips, and June 1, 2011 date of shipment to Newington Gun Exchange of Newington, Connecticut, for Colt employee Kevin Langevin, then Colt's Executive Director of Quality, Product Engineering, & Development and current Vice President of Product Development. The letter further remarks that Langevin, as a Colt factory engineer, was part of the design and development team for the Anaconda First Edition revolver and that this particular prototype was manufactured in the Colt Model Shop at the Hartford factory and was the first prototype machined on a CNC machining center. Blade front and fully adjustable rear notch sights, standard markings on the barrel, wide serrated trigger and hammer, and full Ultimate Stainless finish. Fitted with black neoprene finger groove combat grips with silver medallions. With original white shipping sleeve and Colt blue box.

Near new in box with only light handling marks. Box is very good with some storage marks. An excellent and rare edition to any Colt revolver or Snake collection!
