A) Extremely Rare Colt Cobra Double Action Revolver in .38 Colt New Police with Factory Letter

Standard markings and features. Chambered in extremely rare .38 Colt New Police. With factory letter. The factory letter confirms the caliber, barrel length, finish, and that this revolver was shipped to Straus-Frank Company in San Antonio, Texas on May 17, 1952 and that there were ten such revolvers in the shipment. The consigner notes that only 100-200 Colt Cobras are believed to be chambered in .38 Colt New Police.

ConditionVery good, retains half of the refinished blue finish with widespread wear, a couple patches and some edges with complete finish loss, and a cylinder drag line. The replacement grips are excellent with crisp checkering overall. Mechanically excellent.

ConditionExcellent overall, retains 98% original blue finish with some light handling marks, a couple patches of minor edge wear, and a faint cylinder drag line. The grip checkering is crisp. Mechanically excellent.
