Blade front and adjustable tangent rear sights, bridge charger guide, 10 round detachable box magazine, no magazine cut off, and "crown/G.R./ENFIELD/1918/SHTLE/III*" marked on the stock socket. The stock is wrapped in whip-cord between the front and rear barrel bands and just behind the rear sight with a large reinforcing screw through the forend wood just ahead of the magazine, all features commonly found on rifles designated for grenade launching purposes. Full length walnut stock and handguard set with proofs and acceptance marks stamped behind the trigger guard and brass trapdoor buttplate. The rifle includes a 2 1/2 inch cup type grenade launcher.
